Climate Change - AB32 - SB375 & CEQA/SB 97

Ventura County can’t get serious about climate change without confronting the role of vehicle emissions and our land use policies, which give few alternatives to driving long distances between home and work.

If done properly, implementation of SB 375 will mean:

More environmentally-friendly communities
Less time spent in cars, and more alternative transportation options
Protected open space, farm lands, and natural habitats
Neighborhoods we can safely and proudly pass on to future generations
This event will help kick off regional efforts to create a development plan for Ventura County
that will meet SB 375 mandates, reduce Ventura County’s climate footprint,
and move our region toward a more sustainable future.
