am — Walk with the Birders
Join
members of the Audubon Society on a
bird-watching walk around our celebration
site. Over 23 species of birds were identified
on a recent reconnaissance of the area.
Walk starts promptly at 8:00 am from
the Tierra Rejada Walnut Grove. Bring
binoculars, walking shoes, and morning
smiles as we are led by knowledgeable and
gracious Audubon Society volunteers. |

am — Hike with the Sierra Club
Escape
the urban environment and join
Sierra Club volunteers who will expertly
lead you on a 2.5-hour hike of moderate
di?culty on nature trails within 20 minutes
of our celebration site.
Hike departs at 8:45 am from the Tierra
Rejada Walnut Grove. We will board
transportation and drive to the trail head and
then return in time for the luncheon and
celebration. Advance registration is essential
to properly plan for transportation.

am — Orange Blossom Bike Ride
Take
a morning bicycle ride over beautiful
gently rolling country roads and smell the
orange blossoms. Your ride can be as long as 46 miles or as short
as you want to make it. Marked turnaround sites will indicate a
25- and 36-mile Departs at 9:00 am from the Tierra Rejada Walnut
Grove. Arrive by 8:30 am to park and organize. Helmets required.

am — 5k Run through the Orchards
Start
your morning off with a run or pleasant stroll on an all-dirt ourse
through walnut, avocado, and orange groves surrounding our celebration
site. The 5k race starts at 9:45 am from the Tierra Rejada Walnut
Grove. Check-in begins at 8:45 am. Course professionally marked and
timed. Course mapped by Gary Tuttle of Inside Track. Prizes in each
age/sex category will be awarded. |

am-12:45 pm — Hot Air Balloon Float
Between
9:45 am and 12:45 pm we will have a tethered hot air balloon that
will gently float groups of four people above our celebration site.
Space is limited. Sponsors at the $1000 level will receive two tickets.
Other rides will be raffled off with drawings each half-hour. Become
a $250 sponsor or a monthly sponsor at $20 a month and receive multiple
raffle tickets for FREE.

am-Noon — Fun for the Whole Family
Children and adults will delight in seeing farm animals and learning
about growing produce at the Underwood Family Farm Market & Animal
Center (next to our celebration site). The Center opens at 9:00 am. $3 admission per person (children under 2 free). Additional fun activities will be on-going all morning at our celebration site.
